Education and Training Policy

The roots of Istanbul Aydın University’s education and training policy lie in cultivating innovative, entrepreneurial, and critically minded global individuals. Our University adopts a comprehensive educational philosophy centered on student-focused learning and supported by a strong academic staff. Accordingly, all educational programs incorporate research-based approaches and methods that help students recognize research processes and problems, encouraging them to learn through inquiry. Acting with the motto “Providing a quality educational experience,” Istanbul Aydın University embraces its education and training policies within the framework of the following principles:

  • Internationalization: Supporting students’ enrichment through cultural diversity and fostering a global perspective by offering opportunities such as student exchange programs, dual degree programs, and international research projects.

  • Providing Fast Feedback: Committing to the principle of offering 24/7 rapid feedback to students, with faculty members and support units responding promptly and effectively to students’ questions, assignments, and other academic needs.
  • Self-Learning and Learning at One’s Own Pace: Supporting students in developing individual learning skills by offering personalized learning plans, online resources, and learning groups, enabling self-directed learning at their own pace.
  • Face-to-Face and Online Teaching: Providing flexibility and variety through blended learning models by adopting both face-to-face and online teaching methods, prioritizing learning that is independent of time and place.
  • Competencies of Scientifically Minded and Productive Graduates: Offering a curriculum designed to equip students with skills such as critical thinking, creativity, effective communication, collaboration, complex problem-solving, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
  • Innovative, Nationally and Internationally Accredited Programs: Continuously updating programs and undertaking initiatives to obtain national and international accreditations.
